CFL ANNOUNCES NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH KUBOTA
TORONTO - The Canadian Football League is proud to announce that Kubota Canada is the latest to join its growing roster of leading companies who are CFL partners. The three year partnership agreement sees Kubota become the official tractor & utility vehicle of the CFL, playoffs and Grey Cup.
"As our season builds towards the Grey Cup, our game off the field continues to strengthen by adding partnerships with tier one brands like Kubota," said CFL Commissioner Mark Cohon.
Kubota becomes the fifth new official Canadian Football League partner this season, helping the CFL grow sponsorship revenue in 2011 by 16 per cent.
As an official partner, Kubota receives the right to use CFL and Grey Cup intellectual properties, promotional rights, digital advertising, signage and in-stadium exposure throughout the playoffs and Grey Cup.
This is the first time Kubota has partnered with the CFL.
"The CFL is such a natural fit for our Kubota brand, our dealers, and of course, our customers," said Ross Wallace, President of Kubota Canada. "Through our partnership with this uniquely Canadian sports property, we are excited to offer our dealers and customers some exciting opportunities to win great prizes, including trips to the 100th Grey Cup next year in Toronto. All of us at Kubota along with our 150 dealers right across Canada look forward to this partnership with the CFL as we continue to grow our brand awareness across the country."
