Restart Inhibit is initiated by the myKubota user changing the state of the machine in the Restart Inhibit section of myKubota. The signal is sent from the user’s mobile device to the WorkSmart system. Then the WorkSmart Telematics device next checks in, it receives the command to enable or disable the starting of the machine. Commands sent to the WorkSmart telematics device will only be received at a scheduled update time by the device.

(*) Restart Inhibit is not available on all WorkSmart-supported models

If the machine is off and the user wants to enable restart inhibit (disable starting), simply enable it in the myKubota app. Turn the machine key to ignition ON for 3-5 seconds, then back off. Restart inhibit should now be enabled and the machine will not start on the next attempt.

To disable restart inhibit, select the “Enable Starting” command in myKubota. Turn the machine key to ignition ON for 3-5 seconds, then back off. Restart Inhibit should now be disabled and the machine will start normally on the next attempt.
